Wednesday, May 12th, 2010So hey, I confess to a case of fashion schizophrenia…some days I”m Cybergirl, and some days I”m Glamour Girl. Really depends on what mood I”m in, whether the sun is shining, how long I”ve got to get ready to go out…
At the moment I”m going for pinup a little more often, since it”s a look I can work at the office with reasonable success – hah! – but seems to take a lot more hassle to get right.
Is it because Glamour is about the look – whereas Cyber is about the clothes?
I”ve got piles of Cyberdog, Dane 3000, Battery Organic and all those goodies, plus my trusty New Rocks, natch. Seems I can throw almost any of that stuff on, and I”m done – trying to channel Veronica Lake is NOT SO EASY!!
Still to master:
The hair. Oh God, the hair. How d”you get those waves??
Tops & jackets combos – gngh.
Pencil skirts? Check. Polka dots? Check. Cute heels? Check. Vintage accessories? Check.
So I”m getting there. I hope. Maybe one day I too will have a glamour glow…

There are adorable pink ribbons at the front, back and sleeves along with a pink high-vis heart version of the Space Chihuahua!
It would work beautifully with a cheeky micro-mini and big boots, or dressed down with jeans for the pub, but it”s actually quite glamorous on, so you could burlesque it up with a sparkly choker and black pencil skirt with heels. A really flexible top for any cybergirl”s wardrobe…

Friday, July 17th, 2009These tops have a kinda cyber-burlesque effect with crosslaced black ribbons… Hmm, they”re also a little bit steampunk with those ruffles, I reckon. Depends what you team them up with. They would look *excellent* with a top hat.
They have a chrome-trim strap fastening and the straps are also adjustable. We”ve only got the red pinstripe version left!

Crosslaced ribbon panel on the front, with an elasticated back for a comfortable fit. One size, should fit UK sizes 8-12 or so – up to a 35″ chest. The crosslacing can of course be adjusted to slim the waist if you prefer!
