So hey, I confess to a case of fashion schizophrenia…some days I”m Cybergirl, and some days I”m Glamour Girl. Really depends on what mood I”m in, whether the sun is shining, how long I”ve got to get ready to go out…

At the moment I”m going for pinup a little more often, since it”s a look I can work at the office with reasonable success – hah! – but seems to take a lot more hassle to get right.

Is it because Glamour is about the look – whereas Cyber is about the clothes?

I”ve got piles of Cyberdog, Dane 3000, Battery Organic and all those goodies, plus my trusty New Rocks, natch. Seems I can throw almost any of that stuff on, and I”m done – trying to channel Veronica Lake is NOT SO EASY!!

Still to master:
The hair. Oh God, the hair. How d”you get those waves??
Tops & jackets combos – gngh.

Pencil skirts? Check. Polka dots? Check. Cute heels? Check. Vintage accessories? Check.

So I”m getting there. I hope. Maybe one day I too will have a glamour glow…

Personalised postcodes to include ‘B1G 80Y’ and ‘S3XY 0NE’

In a new plan to generate increased profits, the Royal Mail is to take a leaf out of the DVLA’s vanity licence plate business and enable the public to change ‘functional but drab’ post codes to ones that express their individuality and character through a personalised range. The new customised post code register is to include name-based entries such as J1M5 GAFF, ‘cheeky’ codes such as H0T L1PS or F15T M3, and a range of more discreet codes that pundits have said could be popular with parents keen to avoid difficult questions about how exactly their address falls into the most popular schools’ catchment areas.
